Kevin will do a ‘behind the scenes’ presentation on what it’s like to be a TMO in the professional game. It will include clips which will generate discussion on foul play and the decision making process. Kevin also works for the IRFU Participation Rugby Department and will do a short presentation on Tag Rugby Refereeing.
The Pre-Season Meeting for 2016-17 will take place on Saturday 13th August 2016 in Corinthians RFC.

It is very important that you attend this meeting if you wish to be considered for selection in the coming season 2016-17, as there are a number of law changes etc. No referee can be selected for any games in 2016-17 until they have completed the training on these changes etc.
Additionally during registration you will need to complete the IRFU Code of Conduct for the coming season another prerequisite to selection.
The membership fee of €25 can also be paid at registration on the morning and membership cards will be available for all paid up members who supplied a mugshot.
In order that we can plan lunch etc. appropriately, please respond to James Langan ASAP as to whether you will be attending or not.
Our next monthly General Members Workshop will take place on Thursday 25th February at 8pm in the The Connacht Hotel (Inishmore Suite). The workshop topic is Communication, please make every effort to attend
The November ARCB general members meeting will take place this Thursday 26th in the Sportsground at 8pm.
Sean will give a presentation on the lineout. Please make every effort to attend
Last season, four extra general members workshops were run on various topics that arose. For this season they are on 08th October, 05th November, 11th February and 10th March.
The first of these workshops will be next Thursday, 08th October, in the Sportsground from 8-9pm.
It will be a Touch Judging Workshop for the referees who have started in the last few seasons and those who want to brush up on the basics. We encourage as many people as possible to attend, as you can’t revise the basics enough!
Reminder that our Pre Season Meeting is this Thursday Aug 27th @7.30pm in the Sportsground.
There is a substantial number of important Law clarifications and interpretation guidance from the IRFU that will be important to all referees.
A further meeting will be held on the following Thursday Sept 3rd @ 7.30pm to address items not covered in the first session.
Please make every effort to attend both sessions in order to get the full information available prior to the full start of the new season.
Due to a number of other conflicts, the Aug 15th ARCB Pre Season meeting is cancelled.
The Pre-Season meeting is now rescheduled for Thursday Aug 27th @ 7pm in the Sportsground, it is very important that all members make every effort to attend this meeting and get the season off to a good start.
April monthly meeting will be held on Thurs Apr 16th @8pm in the Cawley Room in the Sportsground, please make every effort to attend.
The ARCB AGM for 2014/15 will be held on Thurs May 14th in the McWilliam Claremorris @ 7.30pm, further details to follow on this.
The January Monthly Meeting, having been previously postponed, took place on February 5th at the Sportsground. Peter Fitzgibbon delivered the presentation which focused mainly on Offside and also the awarding of Penalty Tries.

The next batch of expenses will be due at the end of February.
